Last week we posted about strip lashes and how to apply them. Strip lashes are great if you are looking for something extra for just a day because they come off once you wash your face. While you can reapply them with more glue, they will not stay on for longer than a day by themselves. A great alternative if you want something to last longer is the
Ardell Duralash Starter Kit. These are individual lashes that have a special glue that lasts longer. You can buy the kit that comes with tweezers (for application), glue, remover, and individual lashes or you can buy the individual lashes and glue separately. If you buy the glue separately you can choose the
Ardell Lashtite glue in dark if you prefer to use it instead of the clear. Sometimes the clear glue can look a little messy if you aren't used to applying these, while the dark blends in with the lashes if you aren't a professional. I think it would be a great idea to do these semi-permanent lashes for your wedding day. That way you wake up every morning of your honeymoon with long beautiful lashes. Just be sure to practice using these before the big day. You can't just dismiss them after the first try because things like this take practice. If this isn't something you feel comfortable trying your hand at you can have it professionally done. If you are in the Atlanta area you can contact us and have Nisha apply your semi-permanant lashes. Keep in mind that these are not eyelash extensions, just regular false individual lashes with a semi-permanant glue. I should also mention that you will want to carefully wash around the eyes so that you don't agitate the false lashes too much to ensure their duration.
