Can you believe those wings?!?! They were executed by Kelley. Made from sheets of music they have a vintage feel. And isn't the model angelic? You would never have guessed she had like a bazillion spiders crawling up her dress. YUCK!!! I absolutely hate spiders, but at times I was the closest one standing by and had to swat them off. Ewwww, can't even stand to think about it now!
Check out the flowers top left. Renty is also a florist and did all the flowers you see in these pictures. They were all so beautiful. On a sweet little note, Renty's 6 year old son wanted to give the model Beth one of the bouquets when we were finished. He already has swag!
Also top left in this picture set are invitations by Especially Yours Design: Invitation Wardrobe. All of the invitations pictured in this shoot are by Amanda of Especially Yours Design. If you are interested just click on the name to link over to her website.
The extremely talented photographer Pam Jones has been featured on A Glamour Affair before. If you missed it before click here to view her interview and our trash the dress photo shoot that we were blessed to be asked to do with her.
Look at that beautiful Horse! He was so sweet but not too awfully cooperative. However, he did get the job done once he was promised a future feature on A Glamour Affair's blog. To close the deal we had to add in a ponytail braid with the stipulation that he would take a bath beforehand.
Notice the top right picture and what an awesome job Nisha did on Beth's makeup! Nisha wanted to focus on 1. a dewey flawless face 2. a lot of contouring 3. hypnotic eyes and 4. pouty lips. The eyes were Nisha's favorite part. She brought the eyeshadow back in order to make Beth's eyes look larger. We just loved this hair and makeup combo and the way Pam captured it in her photographs.
Isn't the dress gorgeous?! Everyone was so delighted to hear that the dress would be coming from Brides Atlanta located in Douglasville, GA.
This is one of many beautiful spots at Spring Lake where you can choose to have your ceremony. The area you can't see behind the camera is filled with rows of old wooden church pews. It really is like stepping into a small hidden paradise.
The top picture was taken in the woods at Spring Lake. We followed a short little trail where it opened into this beautiful little cove. Renty's little boy was our guide and you could tell that he had visited this spot many times before. Below left is not the most attractive picture ever but I had to include it. Isn't laughter the best thing in the world!?!?! Beth was cracking us up about something, none of us even remember what it was. Anyway, this just gives you a glimpse into how much we all enjoy what we do. Just a group of girls doing their thing and having a good time at it. And the littlest little girl not seen in the picture, I cannot forget to mention, is the one behind the camera in this pic. She is Pam's middle daughter Emily who is soooo sweet and bubbly (just like her mother). She was there to capture action shots of her mother doing what she does best. I think she may give Pam a run for her money one day. Don't ya think?
XOXO,
So lovely & hypnotic.
